Your Stategic Job Search Plan
A successful job search comes down to just one thing: keeping it simple. Getting a job today consists of marketing and selling yourself to a company or employer!
By simplifying the process it's easier to achieve success. Most people feel a job search can be a very intimidating process. For this reason, many job hunters have difficulty getting started because they don't know where to begin.
Rather than being focused on just one key element at a time, like an interview tomorrow afternoon, they end up trying to do too many things at once.
Think of your job search as a series of steps that when properly completed, will yield stunning results. I recommend thinking in terms of a marketing plan for yourself, just as a business would have a marketing plan. I have always used a 12 step plan with 12 distinct steps in the marketing mix such as:
1. TARGET an orgainization to work for.
2. RESEARCH the organization you want to work for.
